Vaughan Zoom Boom Ticket - Zoom Boom Training is intended to train operators on variable reach forklifts. The goals of the training are to be able to impart an understanding of the physics of the machine, and to outline the operator's responsibilities. This program follows North American safety standards for lift trucks. Zoom boom training and certification is obtainable at our site or at the company's location, provided there are a minimum number of individuals training. Certification received upon successful completion is good for three years.
The telehandler or telescopic handler is similar in several ways to a crane and a common forklift. This versatile machine is constructed along with a telescopic boom that could extend forward and lift upwards. A variety of attachments could be connected on the end of the boom, such as bucket, pallet forks, muck grab or lift table. It is popular in agriculture and industry settings.
The telehandler is a common used along with fork attachments to be able to enable the transporting of loads. Telehandlers have the advantage of being able to reach those inaccessible places which can't be reached by a standard forklift. Telehandlers could remove palletized loads from inside a trailer and placing them on high places such as rooftops. For some applications, they can be more efficient and practical compared to a crane.
When lifting loads which are heavy, the telehandler could experience some instability. When the boom is extended too far with a load, the equipment will become more unstable. Counterweights in the rear help, but don't solve the problem. The lifting capacity rapidly decreases as the working radius increases. Various machinery come with front outriggers that extend the lifting capacity while the equipment is stationary.
